Contour

Pitch-tracking synthesizer — macOS — AU / VST3 / CLAP

Play a synthesizer with your own sound.

Contour is a synthesizer that uses the pitch, dynamics and articulation of a voice or monophonic instrument as its control signals, rather than MIDI. Pitch is never rounded to the nearest note, so bends, glides and slides come through the way you played them.

This is the plugin.

The synth panel is on top. Under it, the tracker shows what it is hearing. Your pitch drawn as a line instead of a piano roll, and a spectrogram of the input below that.

Contour's window while tracking: the transport and device bar, the synth panel — oscillators, mixer, filter, effects and tracking — and a MIDI Out destination, above a pitch trace drawing a played melody with the input's spectrogram lit below
